During my high school years, I had the privilege of contributing to The Legend, our award-winning yearbook, in various creative and leadership roles. From Design Editor to Co-Editor-in-Chief, I honed my skills in layout design, theme development, team leadership, and project management. Each edition of The Legend was a unique reflection of its time, earning prestigious accolades like the NSPA Pacemaker and CSPA Silver Crown. These experiences shaped my passion for design and storytelling, while teaching me the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and creative vision.


That’s The Point

 2019-2020

In my junior year of high school, I advanced to Creative Director of The Legend, assuming responsibility for designing and maintaining the yearbook's visual theme while serving as the lead designer. I mentored and managed a team of four beginner designers, fostering their growth and creativity, and collaborated with the Editor-in-Chief to oversee a 40-person general staff.

The 2023 edition, "That's The Point," reflected our generation's bold and outspoken spirit. This publication earned prestigious accolades, including a CSPA Silver Crown and NSPA 1st Place for Theme Package Design.





Ultralife

 2020-2021

In my senior year, I served as Co-Editor-in-Chief while continuing my role as Creative Director for The Legend. Despite the challenges of creating the yearbook entirely remotely during the pandemic, our team produced "Ultralife," a publication that offered a positive perspective on the pandemic's impact, emphasizing the importance of living life to the fullest.

This role allowed me to lead both the creative and editorial aspects of the project, ensuring a cohesive vision and leading the team to overcome unprecedented obstacles.

As a sophomore, I was honored to join the staff of The Legend, as a Design Editor. My responsibilities included creating layout designs for various sections, contributing to major theme pages including the cover. I played a key role in developing and maintaining the yearbook's overarching aesthetic, which contributed to its recognition as an NSPA Pacemaker recipient.
