That’s The Point
| Creative Direction & Layout Design2019-2020In my junior year of high school, I advanced to Creative Director of The Legend, assuming responsibility for designing and maintaining the yearbook's visual theme while serving as the lead designer. I mentored and managed a team of four beginner designers, fostering their growth and creativity, and collaborated with the Editor-in-Chief to oversee a 40-person general staff.
The 2023 edition, "That's The Point," reflected our generation's bold and outspoken spirit. This publication earned prestigious accolades, including a CSPA Silver Crown and NSPA 1st Place for Theme Package Design.

2020-2021
In my senior year, I served as Co-Editor-in-Chief while continuing my role as Creative Director for The Legend. Despite the challenges of creating the yearbook entirely remotely during the pandemic, our team produced "Ultralife," a publication that offered a positive perspective on the pandemic's impact, emphasizing the importance of living life to the fullest.
This role allowed me to lead both the creative and editorial aspects of the project, ensuring a cohesive vision and leading the team to overcome unprecedented obstacles.

As a sophomore, I was honored to join the staff of The Legend, as a Design Editor for my first ever design experience. My responsibilities included creating layout designs for various sections, contributing to major theme pages including the cover. I played a key role in developing and maintaining the yearbook's overarching aesthetic, which contributed to its recognition as an NSPA Pacemaker recipient.
